Welcome to yet ANOTHER Goo-Net focused segment, one that WILL become regular.
Goo-Net Showcase, a weekly post showcasing interesting cars spotted on Goo-Net Exchange, that I plan to post up every Saturday evening (time will vary, though).
Anyways, let’s get started with something that used to be easily obtainable here in the US, but is now officially forbidden fruit...
...the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Discontinued in the US market after the 2014 model year, the SRT features the same 6.4L HEMI V8 as the Dodge Charger SRT and Dodge Challenger SRT 392 that are available here.
And, in case you’re wondering, yes, this is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , where the Chrysler lineup there consists of only the 300S and 300 SRT.
This brand new 2016 example is listed with only 24km on the odometer, and listed at 6,580,000 yen ($64,076), which seems to be a hefty discount compared to the 7,560,000 yen ($73,619) base price listed on Chrysler Japan’s website...perhaps a Japanese equivalent to a model year end clearance?
The next car I found is something rather notable...but it’s price seems a bit...steep.
Here, we have a 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 with 10,951 miles on it. This stainless steel ‘wonder’, star of the Back To The Future trilogy, and otherwise early 80's failure is currently listed at 10,000,000 yen...that’s about a little over $93,000.
Is a DeLorean really worth that much?
We travel to the UK for this next one, a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! convertible.
This lovely red car, notable for it’s semaphore-type turning indicators that flip out from behind the doors, doesn’t have a mileage listed, but is in excellent condition and possibly all original.
The listed price is 2,480,000 yen, or about $21,450.
Now here’s something that might come as a shocker in it’s home country...a completely original and stock !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
The Varietta, for those who are unfamiliar, was the hardtop convertible version of the final generation S15 Silvia.
This one, which appears to be COMPLETELY stock on the outside, inside, and under the hood, is listed with 76,000km on it, listed at 1,080,000 yen ($10,517), though it has a 4-speed automatic instead of the 5-speed manual, and based on the less performance oriented Spec-S, rather than the Spec-R.
Wrapping up tonight’s Showcase is something brand new and surprisingly desirable forbidden fruit...the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Equipped with the 1.6 liter four-cylinder diesel, this Cactus comes nicely equipped and has a manual transmission.
Brand new, this one is listed for 3,337,000 yen, or about $32,495.

Awesome selection, I love the stuff you can find on Goo net.
That Cactus costs a lot less over here. Only $16,000-$26,000 new.
That 32k price is a bit steep.
